Brooklyn started pre k this year, and at first she was doing really well, but for the past month she's been having some struggles in school, so we pulled her from all day pre k to half day pre k. We are slowly seeing a difference in her when she comes home. We don't think half a day is as much for her to endure. She enjoys school, and adores her teacher. Each morning she walks in with a 'Good morning Mrs Elliott' and hugs her teacher. Mrs Elliott says Brooklyn is her most affectionate student.
We've requested a Behavior Specialist come sit and watch Brooklyn in her class. The specialist stopped me this afternoon (while I was getting Dylan) and asked how Brooklyn likes/disliked half day school. When we were done talking about the half day program the teacher said that Brooklyn has such a sweet nature, and really enjoys working with her during the day.
I can't believe she's already 4 and in school.
