Monsoon or Thunderstorm??

I can't tell the difference, though the weathermen keep saying 'monsoon' guess that's Az slang for thunderstorm, which we're in the season for.

The pictures I took are right behind our home, even though it looks far away. The first picture shows the mountain, and you can make it out, but right next to it, you can see the rain falling on Mt Lemon (very scenic drive we went on, Dylan got scared and made himself sick!) These storms come out of nowhere, and quick!
