Happy (Belated) Birthday Joslyn!

Our sweet, sweet baby Joslyn turned 2 last week. We didn't celebrate her birthday until this week due to her coming down with Type A Flu the week of her birthday. The 3 older kids went to Vacation Bible School (where Evelyn came down w/ a 36 hour fever) but Joslyn ended up getting the FULL blown flu for 8 days. Being the momma I am, I didn't think anything of her being ill, until she refused to eat and drink, and overnight until she woke the next am, she didn't wet her diaper, so off to the hospital we went...for 3+ hours! Thankfully after all blood tests were ran (and came back 'off') we were diagnosed w/ Type A Flu and sent home.

We celebrated with a chocolate cake, and since it was Joslyn's special day, she had TWO pieces of cake!

Some of the things she's doing now is talking up a storm! You ask her a question and surely she'll answer you with either a yes, or no...half the time she has them backwards, unless you ask her if she'd like some milk, or juice to which she'll reply YES and run to the fridge. She's learned to climb OUT of her highchair (we have monkeys for kids, I promise!) she loves, loves, loves baby dolls and shoes.

Joslyn brings so much joy to our home, and we couldn't imagine life without her!
