Two of My 9 Patches

So, I decided since I'm not sure what I'm doing to get a head start (esp in case I messed up and had to keep trying) so, I ironed, measured and cut all my fabric (just my starting fabric, I know I'll have to go get more) and started to assemble my 9 patches. I'm pleasantly surprised at how they turned out.

Yes, my print is a vegetable print. Not quite sure why I like it so much, but I do. When I go back to get more print, I'll be getting either a yellow print (onions) or red print (chillis, red bell peppers, or tomatoes) maybe a light brown (potatoes) to brighten the colors up a bit.

Just for time sake (we know how busy my kids keep me) once I sit down to sew, I'll have to sew quite a few 9 patches to make it worth sitting down, hopefully this way I can stay ahead, or not fall behind. I'm so excited to see/watch how this all turns out....in 70 days of course :)
